ビンテージのdietz comet

dietzの当時物のオイルランタンです。

dietz cometは１９４０年代にアメリカでボーイスカウト用に作られたランタンです。

当時の物はアメリカ製で、コメットと呼ばれタンクにCOMETと記され、グローブにはDITEZとＵＳＡのエンボス加工がされ凝ったつくりになってます。

その後、１９７０年代に香港で作られるようになり香港製からはタンクの刻印がNo.50の表示に変わり、タンク底面にmade in Hong Kongの刻印がされてます。

また、現在出回ってるものはほとんどが中国製の物です。
ペトロマックスhL1はこのメイドインチャイナのＯＥＭ版です。

こちらのランタンは、タンク底面に凸凹がなく、USAのオリジナルです。


ビンテージ品につき、傷　ヨゴレあります。
写真にてご確認ください。
私のコレクションの中では、見た目が綺麗な方です。購入時の値段も高かった記憶があります。
